A broadcaster was driving on a New York highway, the Brooklyn–Queens Expressway. As he was passing a fire truck that was rescuing the passengers of a car that had gone off the road into the bushes, his vehicle suddenly skidded and spun three times. In the midst of the chaos, he cried out, “Don’t let me fail.”
At the moment his car was about to strike the concrete divider, an invisible force lifted the vehicle into the air and placed it back in the center of the highway. God heard his cry. He felt a clear sense of heavenly intercession.
When the vehicle was pulled, the sudden force caused him to release the steering wheel, and his chest slammed violently against the left front door inside the car. By God’s grace there was no impact and he suffered no injuries.
When he reported the incident to the Corona, Queens Police Department, the officer on duty told him, “This happened ten years ago. Take it as a miracle.”
Because of this experience, he can testify that those who accept God’s divine plan of salvation will be lifted up toward the Holy City.
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.”
